Luke faced some challenging times through his teen years and into his twenties. Although he was doing great in boxing he was deeply and constantly burdened by the personal traumas that ailed him. Boxing gave him a focus and a purpose to work toward during these challenging years.

Luke fell short of the Olympics twice in his two attempts.

In 2016 Luke spent time training in Las Vegas before suffering a major injury to his shoulder. He returned home for surgery.

Luke later became the NSW professional State Champion before jetting off to train alongside some of the best boxers and coaches in the world in New York City, USA.

In 2019, while training in Brooklyn NYC, Luke decided to retire from boxing. Moving on from his professional boxing career, to expand his expertise and focus on coaching people on their mindset, joy, and performance.

During his boxing career, Luke trained and learned from some of the finest coaches throughout Australia and America.

Luke worked with children in out-of-home crisis care for five years and as a personal trainer for over a decade, alongside his boxing career.

He also gathered a wide range of knowledge in the areas of strategy, nutrition, supplementation, recovery, physical optimisation, mental optimisation, and performance psychology.

Luke began to get certified in order to develop his skills as a professional coach, to earn credibility and trust, to grow personally and professionally, and to ensure he could get his clients the results they were coming to him for.
